		<description>The only ORM library I've found that is worth using is SQLAlchemy in Python.  I haven't tried them all, mind you, but I understand your frustration with ORM.  What would really be fancy would be for someone to allow you to do SQL as you like and take the results and put each returned record in an object (buffered, of course, for performance).  Thus giving you the power of SQL with the benefits of ORM.  I don't see this happening soon, but SQLAlchemy comes close.</description>
