Apple stuff may be expensive, but you certainly get value for money. You couldnt buy an equivelant PC and software.

I will never go back to a PC. my first macbook sure cost a pretty penny and took me a while to save for but i never regretted it

I've been looking at the MacBook myself lately. It seems they have come down in price. A 15" MacBook was around $1300.00. I remeber buying my powerbook for twice that much 3 or 4 years ago.

The MacBook seems like a great value.
