Hello. We are doing a story on the Chapman Stick and Virna Splendore in the upcoming issue of Premier Guitar. I really like the closeup photography of your stick and would be interested in using it in the magazine. Please let me know if this would be a possibility as soon as possible.

It took about 3 weeks. I have been playing it ever since and I recommend that all poly Stick should get this done even more now. You won't regret it.

Very interesting!
I am an owner of poly-Stick too. It also has a bow and it is rather hard to play.I suppose I need the same retrofit.
How much time did it take?

The cost will vary with the Stick. I recommend calling Stick Enterprises and ask them. I believe mine was over $500 and that was a great deal for what I got.

Very cool!
I too have a poly-Stick although mine does have the adjustable bridge.
I have wanted to use a different gauge of string on mine but it had been suggested that I stay with the lights (no truss rod).I want to move up to mediums.seeing as how your poly has been retro-fitted with a truss rod gives me ideas....
Emmett sent me a new Stickup last year as the original one's case had been cracked (a horrible mishandling of the cable),glued back together, cracked agan, then finally replaced. You are right! The new Stickups sound amazing. Emmett had also sent me a set of the new Smokey Grey tuners that look rather pleasant against the black poly headstock.
I am traveling to California in July and am planning on visiting the Chapmans.Hopefully I will be able to bring my Stick aboard my flight in its gig bag without a hitch.
Thanx for sharing!
